Completing the Spark of Spite Puzzle

The Spark of Spite puzzle is a five-star difficulty level with many items to place. This is a challenging puzzle, so take your time working through it.

Puzzle Strategy: Start with the corners and edges first, as these pieces can only go in specific locations. Work your way inward from there, matching the patterns and images on each piece.

Place the corner pieces, then work along all four edges. Once the edges are complete, fill in the interior sections by matching character pieces and design elements. The puzzle features characters like Maleficent, Hades, and the King, so look for visual cues that help you identify where each piece belongs.

Gathering Materials for the Invitations

After completing the puzzle, speak to the Lawkeeper again. She will inform you that you need to gather materials to craft the Never After Council invitations.

You’ll need to collect the following items:

Pink Roses

Petrified Wood

Fairy Bubbles

Lightning Spice

Fuchsia Eternal Poppies

Fuchsia Eternal Poppies

Fuchsia Eternal Poppies are found in the Fiery Plains and Mount Olympus. These flowers are relatively rare compared to other materials, so you’ll need to search thoroughly. You need three of these items for the invitations.

Pink Roses

Pink Roses can be found in Teapot Falls and the Beanstalk Marshes. These locations are your primary sources for gathering this material.

Petrified Wood

Petrified Wood can be mined from rocks throughout the Storybook Vale area. Look for the red roots sticking out of the ground in locations like the Library of Law. Mine these rocks to collect petrified wood.

Lightning Spice

Lightning Spice grows in the Illusion Fields and around the Shadow Statue. These items look like little lightning bolts sticking out of the ground and are found throughout Mifopia. Search the ground in these areas to gather what you need.

Fairy Bubbles

Fairy Bubbles can be dug up from the soil in the Ever After area. Fallen Fortress is the best location for gathering fairy bubbles efficiently.

Crafting the Never After Council Invitations

Once you’ve gathered all the required materials, head to your crafting bench. The invitations are found under Functional Items.

You need to craft two different Never After Council invitations—one for Hades and one for Maleficent. Create both invitations at your crafting bench using the materials you’ve collected.

Delivering the Invitations

Delivering to Hades

Locate Hades and speak with him. Give him the Never After Council invitation.

Delivering to Maleficent

Travel to the Beanstalk Castle where Maleficent resides. You can use the teleport if you’ve already unlocked it. Speak to Maleficent and give her the second Never After Council invitation.

Witnessing the Meeting

Return to the Library and speak with the Lawkeeper when you’re ready to start the meeting. Travel back to find her.

Once you’ve spoken to the Lawkeeper, you’ll witness the historic meeting between the Mistress of All Evil (Maleficent) and the Lord of the Underworld (Hades). Stand by and watch as they have their conversation.

Completing the Quest

After the conversation concludes, speak to the Lawkeeper again. You’ll also be able to speak with Hades. Note that Maleficent will have vanished, and Hades will run off. Chase after him to catch up and have a final chat with him.
