A Space Ranger Recruit Quest Guide in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Welcome to this comprehensive quest guide for the Space Ranger Recruit quest featuring Buzz Lightyear in Disney Dreamlight Valley. This is Buzz’s first friendship quest, available once you’ve unlocked him from the Toy Story realm. Follow this step-by-step guide to complete all objectives and earn your Space Ranger uniform.

Step 1: Craft the Space Ranger Ship

The first task in this quest is to craft the Space Ranger ship. Head to your crafting bench and navigate to the furniture section. You’ll find the Space Ranger ship recipe there.

Materials needed:

3 Glass

10 Hardwood

Iron Ingots

To gather these materials: Hardwood can be found by harvesting trees, glass is made from sand and coal, and iron ingots are crafted from iron ore and coal. Once you have all the materials, craft the Space Ranger ship at the crafting bench.

Step 2: Place the Space Ranger Ship

After crafting the Space Ranger ship, place it near Buzz’s RV. The ship is quite small, but it will serve as an important landmark for this quest. Once placed, return to Buzz to continue.

Step 3: Gather Materials for Navy Blue Dye

Next, you’ll need to speak with Scrooge McDuck, who will ask you to gather items to create a navy blue dye. This dye is essential for crafting the Space Ranger uniform.

Materials Scrooge McDuck requests:

Blue breeze blue-falling petals (flowers found near specific locations)

Empty vial (can be crafted)

Blueberries (multiple berries required)

Step 4: Craft the Navy Blue Dye

Once you’ve collected all the materials, return to your crafting bench. Navigate to the Functional Items section and select the Navy Blue Dye recipe. Craft this dye—you’ll need it for the uniform.

Step 5: Gather Additional Materials for Scrooge McDuck

After crafting the navy blue dye, Scrooge McDuck will ask for two more items to complete the Space Ranger uniform:

Softwood (can be picked up from various locations)

Topaz (a gemstone; refer to specific topaz farming guides if needed)

Step 6: Trade with Scrooge McDuck

Bring all gathered items to Scrooge McDuck and complete the trade. He will provide you with the Space Ranger uniform in return.

Step 7: Equip the Space Ranger Uniform

Now for the final step! Open your inventory and navigate to your wardrobe. Select the Space Ranger wings and helmet to complete your transformation into a Space Ranger. Once equipped, return to Buzz to finish the quest.
