Space Ranger Reputation Quest Guide – Disney Dreamlight Valley

This comprehensive guide will walk you through the Space Ranger Reputation quest, the second friendship quest with Buzz Lightyear in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Whether you’re a newcomer or returning player, follow these step-by-step instructions to complete this quest successfully and strengthen your friendship with the beloved Space Ranger.

Starting the Quest

Begin by talking to Buzz Lightyear to initiate the Space Ranger Reputation quest. This is the second friendship quest in his questline. Your first task is to listen to a conversation between Buzz and Ursula. Follow them to their location and observe their interaction.

After they’ve finished their conversation, speak to Buzz again. The interaction between Buzz and Ursula doesn’t go particularly well, but don’t worry—this is part of the quest narrative.

Traveling to the Toy Story Realm

Once you’ve chatted with Buzz, head to the Toy Story Realm. If you need a reminder of its location, it’s situated on the first floor on the right-hand side. Make your way there now.

Gathering Buzz Lightyear Playing Cards

Your objective in the Toy Story Realm is to gather Buzz Lightyear playing cards hidden throughout Bonnie’s room. There are three cards to find in total.

Card Location 1: Interact with the blue book in front of the bed. This will yield your first playing card.

Card Location 2: Find the blue book located in the corner of the room. This book contains another playing card.

Card Location 3: Search the Easter book near the farm area—this is where Woody set up the farm if you’ve completed that quest previously.

Returning to Buzz and Collecting Glue

With all three playing cards collected, return to Buzz in Dreamlight Valley and speak with him again. Buzz will reward you with glue, which you’ll need for the next phase of the quest.

Searching for Sheets of Paper

Now you need to search for sheets of paper in three different locations: Merlin’s House, Mickey’s House, and Donald Duck’s House.

Mickey’s House

Enter Mickey’s House and look for a sheet of paper on the floor. Pick it up to add it to your inventory.

Merlin’s House

Head to Merlin’s Tower, typically located in the Meadow (unless you’ve moved it). Inside the tower, locate a sheet of paper near the telescope and collect it.

Donald Duck’s House

Finally, visit Donald Duck’s boathouse, which is located on the beach. You’ll find another sheet of paper here—collect this final piece of paper.

Crafting Buzz Lightyear Leaflets

With all three sheets of paper and the glue collected, proceed to the crafting bench. Navigate to the Functional Items section and select the Buzz Lightyear leaflet. You can craft three of these leaflets.

Pro Tip: If you’re having trouble locating characters, open the map and toggle NPCs off and then back on. They will immediately appear at their house, making it easier to find them.

Distributing Leaflets to NPCs

After speaking with Buzz again, distribute the three Buzz Lightyear leaflets to Maui, Donald Duck, and Ursula.

First: Give a leaflet to Maui.

Second: Give a leaflet to Donald Duck.

Third: Give a leaflet to Ursula.

Completing the Quest

Return to Buzz one final time and speak with him. This conversation will complete the Space Ranger Reputation quest, and you’ll have successfully strengthened your friendship with Buzz Lightyear.
