Chasing The Wind Quest Guide in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Welcome to this comprehensive guide for the Chasing The Wind quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley. This is the second Frozen Realm quest you’ll encounter in the game, and it’s where you’ll meet Elsa for the first time. Follow along as we walk you through each step to complete this quest smoothly.

Starting the Quest

Begin by talking to Elsa in the Frozen Realm. She will explain that you need to get rid of a gale that’s troubling the area. Your first objective is to craft some wind chimes to help solve this problem.

Crafting Wind Chimes

To craft the wind chimes, you’ll need to leave the Frozen Realm and head back to Dreamlight Valley. There’s an exit right next to Elsa that you can use to return to the valley.

Once back in the valley, make your way to your crafting bench. If you don’t have a preferred location, Goofy’s crafting bench is a good choice.

Wind Chimes Recipe

In your crafting menu, navigate to Functional Items. You’ll need the following materials to craft each wind chime:

Softwood

Twine (which Elsa will provide)

Iron Ingots

You need to craft three wind chimes total for this quest.

Returning to Elsa

Once you’ve crafted all three wind chimes, immediately return to the Frozen Realm and make your way back to Elsa. Navigate through Dreamlight Castle and head toward the forest area. Continue forward through the forest, then take a right through where the giant went, followed by a left turn. You’ll find Elsa waiting for you.

Placing the Wind Chimes

Now comes the fun part. You need to place all three wind chimes in different trees near Elsa. You’ll notice that the suitable trees are glowing, making them easy to identify.

To place each wind chime, simply right-click on it while standing near a glowing tree. Place one wind chime in the first tree you see.

Move on to the second glowing tree and place your second wind chime there.

For the third wind chime, look near the river where you’ll find the final glowing tree.

Completing the Quest

After placing all three wind chimes, a new spirit will appear—a delightful moment in the quest! Return to Elsa and talk to her to complete the interaction. She’ll thank you for your help, and the Chasing The Wind quest will be marked as complete.
