Finding Baal Thasar’s Location

To unlock Baal Thasar, you’ll need to defeat him in the new map called Red Moon Manor. While his location is secret, you can find him by heading to the center of the maze-like area in this map.

Stand on the center tile to get teleported to the secret location where Baal Thasar awaits.

Navigating to the Boss Arena

After being teleported, keep moving upward through the secret area. Along the way, you’ll encounter switches that you need to step on to progress further.

Step on each switch you encounter to open the path ahead and continue moving upward. Eventually, you’ll reach the arena where Baal Thasar is located.

If you get teleported during this sequence, simply wait for the animation to complete. You’ll soon see Baal Thasar appear in the arena.

Defeating Baal Thasar: First Phase

Once you encounter Baal Thasar, begin attacking him immediately. However, be aware of his most dangerous attack: the black hole.

The black hole attack will remove one of your weapons if you’re caught in it, so maintain distance and stay away from this hazard at all times. Keep your distance from the black hole while continuing to attack Baal Thasar.

Defeating Baal Thasar: Second Phase

After dealing enough damage, Baal Thasar will transform into a snake form. This phase requires different tactics.

In snake form, Baal Thasar still uses the black hole attack, so continue dodging it to keep your weapons intact. The key difference in this phase is that you can only damage Baal Thasar when the snake opens its mouth.

Wait patiently for the snake to open its mouth, then attack immediately. Dodge the black hole attacks when they appear, wait for the next mouth opening, and repeat this pattern until you defeat Baal Thasar completely.

Unlocking Baal Thasar as a Playable Character

After defeating Baal Thasar, the game will end. You’ll see the game over screen — simply quit to return to the main menu.

Navigate to the character selection screen. You’ll now see Baal Thasar available as an option. Purchase the character to complete the unlock process and add him to your roster.
