Prerequisites for Unlocking Stitch

Before you can unlock Stitch, you must complete two critical prerequisites:

Unlock the Forest of Valla

Unlock Donald Duck

How to Unlock Donald Duck

To unlock Donald Duck, you’ll need to head upstairs to the Forest of Valla. You’ll find a character standing there with a portal in front of them. Complete the quest with Christoph, which will unlock both Christoph and Donald Duck simultaneously.

After completing the Christoph quest, invite Donald Duck into the valley and place his house. This is a crucial step, as the next quest chain will only unlock after you’ve placed Donald Duck’s house.

The Three Sock Quests

Once Donald Duck is unlocked and his house is placed, a friendship quest chain will become available. This chain consists of three separate quests, each appearing at different times and in different locations.

Quest 1: Mystery of the Stolen Socks

This quest appears immediately after you unlock Donald Duck and place his house. To start it, head to Dazzle Beach and search for a slimy sock on the ground. You’ll find these socks in multiple locations around the beach—pick up just one sock to automatically trigger the quest.

The slimy socks spawn in at least two locations on Dazzle Beach. While there may be additional spawn points, these are the two locations confirmed in this guide.

Quest 2: Sock Stealing Space Aliens Strikes Again

This quest becomes available exactly five days after you place Donald Duck’s boat (not five days after completing the first quest). In this quest, you’ll search for an orange chewed-up sock instead of a slimy one.

The chewed-up socks spawn in the Meadow area. Like the first quest, multiple spawn locations exist, but you only need to pick up one sock to activate the quest.

Quest 3: Built to Destroy

The final quest in the chain appears exactly ten days after you place Donald Duck’s boat. This quest tasks you with finding another orange knitted sock, which spawns in the Forest of Valla.

In this quest, you’ll need to build or craft items and speak with several villagers. The quest culminates when you place a beacon on Skull Rock. Once you do, Stitch will come flying down and crash at that location.

Important Timing Clarification

When waiting for quests to unlock, remember this critical point: the timers all start from when you place Donald Duck’s boat. This means you don’t have to wait five days between each quest. Instead, you can wait ten days total and complete all three quests in the same day if you prefer.
