This guide will walk you through completing the Item Procurement Quest in Palia. Once you reach Level 2 friendship with Hecla, you’ll unlock this quest, which requires you to gather specific items and deliver them. Follow this step-by-step guide to complete the quest efficiently.

Quest Requirements

To complete the Item Procurement Quest, you need to collect three items: a potato, fabric, and buttons. Each item can be obtained from different locations around the map.

How to Get a Potato

The easiest way to obtain a potato is to purchase one from Badruse Gardening Store, located on the west side of the mug. Simply visit the store and buy a potato.

How to Get Fabric

Fabric can be purchased from the furniture shop in Dish. Navigate to this location and purchase the fabric for 190 gold.

How to Get Buttons

Buttons are obtained as a quest item from Gel, who works at the Tailor Shop. You’ll need to travel to Gel’s location and talk to him to request buttons. Note that Gel may be sleeping when you arrive, but you can still interact with him.

Approach Gel and select the dialogue option asking if he has any extra buttons. He will provide you with one button, and your quest will automatically update.

Returning to Hecla

Once you have collected all three items (potato, fabric, and buttons), you need to return to Hecla to complete the quest. Hecla is located on the very north side of the mug at this time of day.

Travel to Hecla’s location and initiate a conversation with her. Present the items you’ve collected to complete the Item Procurement Quest.
