Memory Lane Quest Guide in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Starting the Quest

Begin by talking to Flynn to initiate the Memory Lane quest.

Your first objective is to listen to Flynn and the Lawkeeper have a conversation. Flynn will run up to the library to meet the Lawkeeper, and you need to follow him there.

After the conversation concludes, Flynn will leave a memory on the floor. Pick it up and then talk to Flynn again immediately after.

Meeting with Ashela

Flynn will direct you to speak with Ashela. If she isn’t currently in the Storybook Veil, you can toggle her location on the map to have her appear there without traveling back to Dizzy Dreamlight Valley.

Head to the water area in Storybook Veil to find Ashela and talk to her.

Gathering Quest Items

Ashela will ask you to gather five specific items. Here’s where to find each one:

C Monster Fish

You need one C Monster Fish. This item can be fished from ripples in the Wild Woods. Cast your line at any fishing ripple you encounter in this area to potentially catch it.

Salt Crystals

Salt Crystals can be fished from the river in the Wild Woods, but specifically from plain water outside of ripples. Unlike the C Monster Fish, you won’t find these at marked ripple locations.

Lightning (5 Required)

Travel to the Elysian Fields to find lightning growing in various spots throughout the area. Harvest five lightning crops to complete this requirement.

Olives (8 Required)

Olives are also found in the Elysian Fields on olive trees. Look for the green-colored trees that resemble actual olive trees (not the blue-colored ones). You’ll need to collect eight olives total.

Petrified Wood

Petrified Wood can be obtained through multiple methods. You can mine stone deposits in the Bind area or the library section. The easiest method is to mine the wood pieces scattered throughout the library area, as these guarantee Petrified Wood drops.

Delivering Items to Ashela

Once you’ve gathered all the required items, return to Ashela with your complete inventory.

Note: You may encounter a bug where Ashela won’t interact with you. If this happens, try turning her off and on (like restarting a computer). If the issue persists, travel back to the main Disney Dreamlight Valley where she should work properly, though this is inconvenient.

When Ashela is responsive, talk to her and provide all the gathered items. She will craft and give you a potion in return.

Returning to Flynn with the Potion

With the potion in hand, head to Flynn’s house to complete the next phase. You can use fast travel by pressing T on the main map to quickly navigate between locations and realms.

Enter Flynn’s house and talk to him inside. Give him the potion you received from Ashela.

Flynn will drop a memory after receiving the potion. Pick up this memory and talk to Flynn again.

Speaking with Hades

After your conversation with Flynn, go speak with Hades. He will suggest that you check inside his house for additional items related to Flynn’s memories.

Retrieving the Crown

Enter Hades’ house and look for a stone chest. Inside this chest, you’ll find a crown on a pillow. Take the crown out of the chest.

Final Steps with Flynn

Return to Flynn’s house with the crown (tiara) you obtained from Hades’ chest. Talk to Flynn and give him the crown.

Flynn will drop another memory, which you should pick up. This memory reveals Rapunzel’s crown.

Talk to Flynn one final time to complete the Memory Lane quest.
