Starting the Quest

Begin by talking to Sally to initiate the “Preposterous Premonitions” quest. Once you’ve started, your first objective is to find and speak with Ariel.

Locate Ariel in whichever river she’s currently residing in and have a conversation with her to progress the quest.

Gathering Potion Ingredients

Your next task is to fetch potion ingredients for Sally. Specifically, you’ll need to collect Arcane Sprouts from the Forgotten Lands.

Finding Arcane Sprouts in the Forgotten Lands

Arcane Sprouts appear as purple crystal flowers throughout the Forgotten Lands. Here are the locations where you can find them:

One flower near the Goofy stall area

One flower in the corner of the zone

One flower on the bottom left of the zone

Additional flowers on the top left corner

There are more than enough Arcane Sprouts scattered around, so you should have no trouble collecting what you need.

Delivering Ingredients to Sally

Head to Jack and Sally’s house (note: the location may differ if you’ve placed it elsewhere on your island) and speak with Sally inside.

Give Sally the Arcane Sprouts you’ve collected. After handing over the ingredients, you’ll receive a premonition from Sally.

Investigating Sally’s First Premonition

Talk to Sally about her first premonition to learn more details. The premonition will show you a cave location you need to investigate. Based on the barrels visible in the premonition image, the cave you’re looking for is located on Dazzle Beach.

Head to Dazzle Beach and locate the cave on the side of the beach as indicated by the premonition.

Finding the Clue in the Cave

Enter the cave and search for clues. You’ll find a photograph of Mickey on the floor inside the cave.

Pick up the photograph—this counts as a clue you need to bring back to Sally.

Experiencing Sally’s Second Premonition

Return to Sally and give her the photograph. After doing so, Sally will have another premonition.

Pick up this second premonition and talk to Sally again to discuss what she’s seen.

Warning Mickey and Scrooge McDuck

Based on Sally’s second premonition, you need to warn both Mickey Mouse and Scrooge McDuck about the danger she’s foreseen.

Talk to Scrooge McDuck first and explain what Sally has discovered.

Next, find Mickey Mouse and speak with him. Mickey may be sitting on a chair, so interact with him there.

After warning both characters, return to Sally and tell her about your attempts to warn them.

Stopping Ashla’s Plot

Now you need to head into the Curse Cave before it’s too late to stop Ashla’s plan.

Enter the Curse Cave and speak with Sally about foiling Ashla’s nasty plot.

Using the Nightmare Potion

To stop the ritual, you need to place Sally’s potion in Ashla’s cauldron. Locate the cauldron in the cave.

Interact with the cauldron and use the Nightmare Potion to halt the ritual.

Confrontation and Aftermath

Watch as Sally confronts Ashla about her scheme.

After the confrontation, you must talk to everyone involved in the quest: Mickey, Scrooge, and Ashla. Speak with each character to complete this objective.

Final Conversation at Mickey’s House

Head inside Mickey’s house to complete the quest’s final sequence.

You’ll find everyone gathered inside. Listen to Sally and Mickey having a conversation.

Once the conversation concludes, talk to Sally one final time to complete the “Preposterous Premonitions” quest.
