Patchwork Party Quest Guide – Disney Dreamlight Valley

This comprehensive guide walks you through the Patchwork Party quest, Sally’s third friendship quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Starting the Quest

Begin by speaking to Sally, who will ask you to collaborate on a sewing project. Head outside and talk to Daisy, then select the “Patchwork Party” quest option.

Gathering Initial Materials

The first step requires you to collect the following items:

Gold ingots

Purple impatience

Fabric

Red bell flowers

Gold Ingots

Mine gold nuggets using your pickaxe when breaking rocks. You can also use gold found during mining and convert it into gold ingots at the crafting table. For this quest, craft approximately 10 gold ingots.

Red Bell Flowers

Red bell flowers can be found in the Forest of Valor, with up to six available at any time. These respawn approximately every 20 minutes.

Purple Impatience

Purple impatience flowers are located in the Forgotten Lands. Only four can be found at one time, so you’ll need to collect four and wait for the fifth to respawn (approximately 20 minutes). This respawn mechanic applies to this resource throughout the quest.

Fabric

Fabric is crafted from cotton, which you can harvest in the Sunlit Plateau. Create enough fabric for the quest requirements.

Delivering Materials to Sally

Once you’ve gathered all materials, bring them to Sally so she can assist Daisy and Minnie with their sewing project.

Visiting Minnie’s House

Head to wherever you’ve placed Minnie’s house in your valley (in this example, it’s located in the Plaza). Enter the house to find Sally, Daisy, and Minnie gathered together.

Listen to Sally and Daisy discuss the sewing project, then talk to Sally about it. You can also speak to Daisy and Minnie if desired, though it’s optional.

Consulting the Fairy Godmother

Next, you’ll need to speak with the Fairy Godmother. If you have multiple quest options, make sure to select “Patchwork Party” specifically.

Collecting Quest Items

Ancient Crystal from Mystical Cave

Travel to Dazzle Beach and locate the Mystical Cave. Make your way to the bottom of the cave where you’ll find an orange-colored fishing pool. Fish in this pool to obtain the ancient crystal.

Feather from Forest of Valor

Head to the Forest of Valor and search for a feather. You’ll typically find it positioned near a pillar in this region.

Snowman’s Nose from Frosted Heights

Travel to the Frosted Heights and enter the cave in that area. The snowman’s nose (represented as a carrot) is located near the portal at the back of the cave.

Storybook from Forgotten Lands

Visit the Forgotten Lands and look for the storybook, typically located just south of the “R” marking on your map.

Cooking Memorabilia

You’ll need to cook two dishes to create a memorabilia from your valley adventures:

Root Beer

Root beer requires the following ingredients:

Ginger

Sugar cane

Vanilla

Fruit Salad

Fruit salad is simple—use any fruit available in your valley, such as an apple.

Use the auto-fill feature and start cooking both dishes.

Visiting the Fairy Godmother’s House

Bring your cooked items and collected materials to the Fairy Godmother’s house (Zip-Zap Keen). Enter and prepare to give Sally everything you’ve gathered.

Asking Villagers About Food Memories

The next objective requires you to ask the following villagers about their favorite food memories:

The Forgotten One

Mickey Mouse

Christoph

Donald Duck

Locate each villager around the valley and speak with them to learn about their food memories.

Cooking the Final Dishes

After gathering the villagers’ food memories, you’ll need to cook the following four meals:

Carrot Cake

Ingredients:

Carrot

Wheat

Eggs (available in Remy’s Pantry)

Sugar cane (available for purchase on Dazzle Beach)

Bouillabaisse (Seafood Dish)

Ingredients:

Seafood (clams, scallops, or shells collected from Dazzle Beach)

Shrimp (available from fishing in blue or orange swells on Dazzle Beach)

Tomatoes

Any vegetable

Fish Sandwich

Ingredients:

Any single fish

Wheat

Fish Salad

Ingredients:

Any single fish

Lemon (found growing on trees throughout the valley)

Lettuce

Cook all four dishes and prepare to deliver them to Sally.

Delivering Cooked Meals to Sally

Return to Sally and give her all the cooked meals you’ve prepared.

Placing the Memory Quilt

Sally will give you the Dreamlight Memory Quilt as a reward. Access your inventory, go to Furniture and Requests, select the Memory Quilt, and place it anywhere in your valley.

Celebrating with the Village

The final step involves celebrating with the entire village. Take a picture of everyone in celebration to complete this objective.
