Promethean Flame Quest Guide – Disney Dreamlight Valley

Ready to tackle the Promethean Flame quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Storybook Vale? This comprehensive guide will walk you through every step of this fiery trial in the Fiery Plains. Follow along as we break down each objective, from lever pulling to torch placement, so you can complete this quest efficiently.

Getting Started

Head into the Fiery Plains to begin the Promethean Flame quest. You’ll be working through a series of environmental puzzles and interactions that will test your problem-solving skills.

Step 1: Talk to Hades

Your first objective is to talk to Hades. You’ll find him in the area, and this conversation will kickstart the main puzzle sequence.

Step 2: Move the Flaming Torches

After speaking with Hades, you need to move every flaming torch to the correct location. The torches are interactive objects that will slot into designated positions. This is a straightforward process—simply move each torch into its proper place.

First Torch Placement

Move the first torch into the correct slot. Once positioned correctly, it will lock into place automatically.

Step 3: Pull the Lever and Open the Gate

After placing the first torch, head down to the right-hand side of the area and pull the lever. This action will open the gate to the bridge ahead.

Step 4: Cross the Bridge

Walk across the bridge that was just opened. Continue forward to access the next area of the puzzle.

Step 5: Use Your Watering Can

Equip your watering can and sprinkle water on the revolving mechanism you’ll encounter. This action will lower the structure, allowing you to progress further.

Step 6: Explore and Collect

As you continue walking around the area, you’ll find multiple interactive objects. Head to the top of the area and use your net to hit one of the objects.

Digging and Pushing

Come back downstairs and dig out one of the objects in the area. You’ll then be able to interact with another object and push it. Remember to push the one located upstairs as well.

Continue pushing the objects in sequence. Each push moves the torch closer to its final position. After three consecutive pushes, you’ll complete the second torch placement.

This action will also open a nearby chest for you to loot.

Step 7: The Third Torch (Right Side)

Move to the right-hand side of the area to work on the third torch. You’ll find another spinning mechanism here that you can interact with to rotate and access additional chests if desired.

Activating the Second Bridge Lever

Continue forward to find another lever. Pull it to lower a second bridge in the area.

Step 8: Lower the Third Torch

After pulling the lever, you’ll discover another watering mechanism. Use your watering can on it to lower the third torch into position.

There’s another chest available in this area as well. When you open it, you’ll receive Ambrosia, the Nectar of the Gods—a valuable reward.

Completing the Third Torch

Now that the torch is lowered, you can push it into position. Push it multiple times until it slides all the way into the correct slot.

Step 9: Talk to Hades Again

Once all three torches are in their correct positions, return to Hades and speak with him again.

Step 10: Interact with the Magical Corruption

You’ll now be able to interact with the magical corruption at the bowl location. This will trigger a significant event.

Understanding the Flame Gates System

When you interact with the magical corruption, two of the flames will open at Mount Olympus. This quest is part of a larger progression system:

Completing the trial in the Elysian Heights adds the first flame at Mount Olympus

Completing the trial in the Fiery Plains (Promethean Flame) adds the second flame

Completing the Statue Shadow trial will add the third flame and fully open the gates

Step 11: Final Conversation with Hades

You’ll be automatically transported back outside the puzzle area. Find Hades, who may be taking a break for lunch, and speak with him one final time.

When you talk to Hades again, you’ll complete the Promethean Flame quest and receive your rewards.

Congratulations! You’ve successfully completed the Promethean Flame quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley. You’ve earned valuable rewards, including Ambrosia, and you’ve made progress toward unlocking the gates at Mount Olympus.
