Starting your adventure in Disney Dreamlight Valley begins with the Welcome to Dream Light Valley quest. Tracking Your First Quest

When you first enter Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll be presented with the “Welcome to Dream Light Valley” quest automatically. To make this easier to follow, press T on your keyboard to track the quest. This will keep the objectives visible throughout your gameplay and help you stay on course.

Entering Your House

Your first objective is to enter your house. You’ll encounter some dialogue with Merlin as you approach. After this conversation, you’ll need to remove the vines covering your house entrance before you can go inside.

Removing the Vines

Once inside your house, you’ll notice that vines have overgrown the interior. To clear them out, simply walk up to each vine and press E on your keyboard. There are four separate vine clusters throughout the house that need to be removed in this way. After removing all four vines, the interior will be clean and accessible.

Collecting the Glowing Orb

After clearing the vines, you’ll notice a glowing orb on the floor. Approach it and press E to pick it up and investigate it. This orb will provide you with a picture showing what Dream Light Valley looked like before its decline. This image will be automatically added to your Collections tab for future reference.

Talking to Merlin

After collecting the glowing orb, head back to Merlin to discuss what you’ve found. He’ll have some thoughts about the orb and the state of Dream Light Valley. This conversation will involve some lengthy dialogue, but it’s an important part of the story setup.

Quest Completion and Next Steps

Once you finish your conversation with Merlin, you will have successfully completed the Welcome to Dream Light Valley quest. Upon completion, the game will automatically start two new quests: Royal Tools and Dream Castle. This seamless transition keeps the momentum going as you continue your adventure in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
