An Existential Conundrum Quest Guide in Palia

In this guide, we’ll walk you through the Existential Conundrum quest in Palia. This quest becomes available after reaching level 2 friendship with Gel, and it will require you to make an important choice between two different elements. Follow along to complete this quest and unlock what Kaniyata is looking for.

Quest Overview

The Existential Conundrum quest is triggered once you’ve reached level 2 friendship with Gel. When you talk to him, he will present you with two element choices to progress the quest.

Choosing Your Element

When you speak with Gel, you’ll be given two options:

Water Element — requires you to visit Kaniyata at the top of Kaniyata

Air Element — requires you to visit Eshe at the top of Eshe

In this guide, we chose the water element, so we will need to find Kaniyata.

Finding Kaniyata

Head to Kaniyata’s location. Once you arrive, locate her and initiate conversation. She has an important request that ties directly into the quest objective.

Completing the Quest

After speaking with Kaniyata, she will request something specific. Take note of what she wants—this is crucial for progressing the quest.

Once you’ve gathered what Kaniyata needs, return to Gel and speak with him again. Report back with the information you’ve obtained from Kaniyata.

After you complete your conversation with Gel and provide the necessary information, the Existential Conundrum quest will be marked as complete.
