How to Complete an Artifact by Donating All the Pieces in Palia
In Palia, collecting and completing artifacts is an exciting way to progress through the game. Whether you’re gathering rummage piles, making shrine offerings, purchasing mystery bags, or trading with other players, there are multiple methods to obtain the artifact pieces you need. This guide will walk you through each method and show you how to donate all your pieces to complete artifacts.
Ways to Obtain Artifact Pieces
There are four primary methods to gather artifact pieces in Palia:
Gathering from rummage piles
Trading with other players
Purchasing mystery bags
Making shrine offerings
Method 1: Gathering from Rummage Piles
Rummage piles are scattered throughout the Elderwood map and contain artifact pieces. To collect from them, you’ll need to use your hoe to till the rummage piles. You can find up to two pieces per day from different locations.
To track rummage pile locations, you have two options:
Purchase an Artifact Tracker: This is a one-time purchase that will display rummage pile locations on your compass.
Use an Online Tracking Website: Select your map (Elderwood) and check the daily locations. For example, on a given day, piles may appear at coordinates F6 and H4.

Method 2: Purchasing Artifact Mystery Bags
You can save up your artifact or infected essence currency and visit the in-game store. Purchase an Artifact Mystery Bag to receive a random artifact piece. This is a straightforward way to obtain pieces if you have the currency available.

Method 3: Making Shrine Offerings
Shrines throughout Palia offer another method to obtain artifact pieces. First, gather sacred flowers around the Elderwood map. Then, locate a shrine—for example, the Oombran Shrine is located on the second floor of the Central Stable, near or beside a waterfall.
Approach the shrine and press F to view available offerings. Each shrine requires a different number of sacred flowers and offers varying rewards. When you make an offering, you may receive a Star Stone mystery bag or other rewards that could contain artifact pieces. The Oombran Shrine, for instance, requires one sacred flower per offering.

Method 4: Trading with Other Players
If you have duplicate artifact pieces, you can trade with other players to get pieces you’re missing. Locate a trading kiosk or table in the game world. Open it and access the trading interface.
Here’s how the trade works:
Open the trading kiosk
Your artifact inventory will display on the right side
Your trading partner’s inventory will appear on the left side
Select the items you want to exchange
Confirm the trade and wait a few seconds for the transaction to finalize
This method is especially useful when you have extra pieces from one artifact set and need specific pieces from another.

Donating Your Artifact Pieces
Once you’ve gathered all the pieces for an artifact set, it’s time to donate them. Donation stations are organized by artifact type. For example:
Ancient Machines
Oombran Artifacts
War Torn Artifacts
Navigate to the appropriate donation station for the artifact you’re completing. Donate all the required pieces in sequence (piece 1, piece 2, and so on). As you complete each full artifact set, you’ll receive rewards such as Luis’s Fun Box.

Tracking Your Progress
Keep track of which artifact pieces you still need. For instance, if you’re working on Ancient Machines, you might already have pieces 1, 2, and 3 complete, but still need to find pieces 3 and 4. This helps you prioritize which gathering method to use next.
Summary
Completing artifacts in Palia involves gathering pieces through multiple methods—rummage piles, mystery bags, shrine offerings, and player trades. Each method offers flexibility depending on your available resources and time. Once you’ve collected all the pieces for an artifact set, donate them at the appropriate station to receive your rewards and continue your progression through the game.
