Progression Requirements

To unlock the ability to fast travel from home, you’ll need to progress through your main quests in a specific order. First, complete the Elder Wood quest, which becomes available after finishing the prologue and main quest line.

Once you’ve finished the Elder Wood quest, you’ll receive a new guide quest from Nioh called “Up the Hill.” This quest is the gateway to building your stables and unlocking home fast travel.

Building Your Stables

Materials Needed

To complete the “Up the Hill” quest and craft the stables, you’ll need to gather the following materials:

30x Ancient Wood Plank

7x White Stone Slab

Gathering Materials Manually

You can gather these materials yourself by heading to the Elder Wood. Mine ancient wood and white stone ore from the environment, then process them using your crafting stations:

Use your Sawmill to convert ancient wood into ancient wood planks

Use your Smelter to convert white stone ore into white stone slabs

Quick Purchase Option

If you’d prefer to skip the waiting time for your crafters to finish processing materials, head to Kiloma Village and visit the Blacksmith location. You can purchase the materials directly from the register:

Ancient Wood Plank: 8 gold each (30 needed = 240 gold total)

White Stone Slab: 70 gold each (7 needed = 490 gold total)

Crafting and Using Your Stables

Once you have all the necessary materials, head back to your home plot and craft the stables. After construction is complete, you’ll unlock the ability to fast travel directly from your home.

With stables built on your property, you can now use them to travel instantly to different towns without having to run around or navigate to each town’s individual stables. You can also teleport back home from any stables location across Palia.
