This comprehensive guide walks you through the Ancient Doorway quest with Ariel in Dezevri Mavali. Follow these step-by-step instructions to complete the quest and earn a lovely dress and suit as your reward.

Step 1: Talk to Ariel and Receive the Stone Slab

Begin by talking to Ariel, who will give you a tablet or stone slab. She’ll ask you to show it to Merlin and get his opinion on the ancient doorway artifact.

Step 2: Show the Stone Slab to Merlin

Travel to Merlin and show him the ancient doorway stone slab. He will examine it and provide insights about the artifact.

Step 3: Return to Ariel

Head back to Ariel with the stone slab. You may need to search for her if she’s wandered off with Ashla near the water, but she should appear relatively nearby.

Step 4: Show the Stone Slab to Remi

Once you’ve given Ariel the stone slab back, locate Remi and talk to him. Give him the stone slab and discuss his passions, which include cooking and culinary pursuits.

Step 5: Show the Stone Slab to Moana

Next, find Moana and talk to her about the stone slab. She will speak about the water, the wind, and her connection to these natural elements.

Step 6: Show the Stone Slab to Ashla

Finally, locate Ashla wherever she may be and talk to her about the stone slab. This completes the character consultation phase of the quest.

Step 7: Place the Stone Slab in the Mystical Cave

Travel to the cave on Basil Beach and navigate all the way to the ground floor. You’ll find a tablet at the very bottom of the staircase near the main lake area. Interact with the tablet to place the stone slab inside it.

Step 8: Collect the Magic Crystal

After placing the stone slab, a magic crystal will appear. Pick it up—you’ll need this for the final step of the quest.

Step 9: Meet Ariel at Her House

Exit the cave and head to Ariel’s house. Go inside and prepare to give her the mythical crystal. Note: There is a known bug where Ariel may not appear immediately inside her house. If this happens, simply leave and re-enter the house—she should appear on your second attempt.

Step 10: Give Ariel the Crystal and Complete the Quest

Give Ariel the mythical crystal. As a thank you gift, she will reward you with a lovely dress and a suit. The Ancient Doorway quest is now complete!
