The Land of Myths and Legends Quest Guide in Disney Dreamlight Valley

This comprehensive guide walks you through the Land of Myths and Legends quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley. This quest unlocks when you gain access to the Elysian Fields in Mythopia after completing several quests in the Wild Woods. Follow along to learn each step required to complete this quest and progress toward the Guts and Glory quest.

Getting Started: Exploring the Elysian Fields

The first objective is to explore the Elysian Fields. When you arrive in this new area, you’ll notice there’s a stall here that you can unlock with Goofy—there appears to be one in every zone throughout the game.

The main entrance to the Elysian Fields can be tricky to locate since the environment colors blend together. Head down the small path and look for the distinctive pillars marking the entrance. This works similarly to how you accessed other areas. Once you’ve found the right spot, proceed to the obelisk ahead.

Consulting the Lawkeeper

Next, you’ll need to ask the Lawkeeper about the Elysian Fields. Head back to the library where the Lawkeeper is located. The Lawkeeper is represented by a book in the game’s interface.

After consulting the Lawkeeper, you’ll receive an important warning: do not venture into the Mythic Trial alone.

Meeting Marida

You’ll need to talk to Marida before entering the Mythic Trial. Find her in the world and initiate a conversation. She will agree to accompany you into the trial, similar to companion mechanics you may have experienced in previous quests.

Entering the Mythic Trial

Follow Marida as she leads you into the Mythic Trial. Once inside, speak to her again to receive further instructions about your objective within the trial.

Catching the Will of the Wisps

Your main task in the Mythic Trial is to catch the Will of the Wisps. To do this, you’ll need to use your Royal Net—an essential tool for this quest. Remember that the Royal Net only works with snippets and blue flames.

To catch a Will of the Wisps:

Interact with the blue flames you encounter

Use the Royal Net to catch them (hold Space and interact)

The caught wisps will appear in your inventory as blue flames

Continue searching the trial area for additional blue flames and catch each one you find.

Meeting Marida at the Trial Entrance

Once you’ve caught the necessary blue flames, make your way back to meet Marida near the entrance of the Mythic Trial. Speak with her to proceed to the next phase of the quest.

Placing the Blue Flames in the Torches

Now you’ll need to place your collected blue flames into the torches. Interact with the torches around the area and place the blue flames inside them. You should have at least two torches to interact with.

Once you’ve successfully placed all the blue flames into the torches, they will light up and reveal the next step.

Activating the Wheel

After the torches are lit, interact with the wheel to complete the final action of the Land of Myths and Legends quest. This interaction will trigger the transition to the next quest.

Quest Complete: Moving On to Guts and Glory

Congratulations! You’ve successfully completed the Land of Myths and Legends quest. Activating the wheel concludes this quest and automatically begins the next quest in the Mythopia questline: Guts and Glory. This quest unlocks additional content and progression in Disney Dreamlight Valley’s DLC expansion.
